dreamed of being an editor at Elle. Today, she’s more than that.
Asanda
Sizani was the first black fashion editor at the glossy magazine – taking the
title in 2011.
The Eastern Cape woman is today the fashion and beauty director for Elle.
She’s bagged the Standard Bank Rising Star Award in the media and marketing category.
Sizani shared her inspiring story with Carla Mackenzie on The Late Show.
Sizani has held positions at several established companies.
This year she collaborated on a range, ‘AsandaXTopshop’ with fashion the British fashion retailer, Topshop.
Sizani says she wishes for more opportunities for black women.
