The Martin Bester Drive speaks to Ronan Keating about his return to SA
Updated | By Tando Ntunja
Already set your alarms to August the 19th when Irish superstar Ronan Keating will take up residency at Montecasino over three nights. Yes: THREE nights. Want to guess what he'll sing for you?

Ever the jet-setting superstar, Ronan Keating is no stranger to South Africa either, having been here a number of times to perform and also on holiday with his wife, Storm Keating.
The former lead singer of 90's boyband Boyzone caught up with Martin Bester and even teased out what he'll perform at Montecasino: “I’ve been here many times over the years, working. It is truly incredible. But I’ve always felt that when an artist comes to tour, they need to play the new music, but I think it’s also important to show where you come from, you know, your story. So there will be a lot of the old stuff as well.”
Ronan has also made recent appearances as a judge on The Voice Australia: “I’m giving my opinion, I manage bands myself: I treat it the same way. I always think ‘if I were managing these guys, what would they need? What would I need?’ I think it’s constructive criticism, it’s not about being belittling.”
