Lion cub saved after tumbling into well
Updated | By Lethu Ndimande
Wildlife officials in India hoisted a cub to safety after it fell into a deep well.

A video was captured at the Armrapur Village showing a six-hour long rescue mission of a two-year old Asiatic lion cub. The cub had fallen inside a well.
According to NDTV, the cub probably wondered away from its pride and fell into the deep well.
The video shows a rescue worker in a cage being lowered down the well to help the cub.
The cub is seen minutes later hoisted up in the air and is then put in a cage.
Officials told Deccan Chronicle that the cub will only be released back into the wild after it has been examined by a Vet.
