Man uses whale shark as a surfboard
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Who would ever have thought that a whale shark would remain so calm?
A man was spotted recently riding on the back of a whale shark.
In the shocking clip posted to YouTube, a man thought it would be a great idea to jump off a boat onto a gigantic whale shark's back.
The clip is believed to have been filmed in the Middle East, and shows how the man can be seen casually walking onto the whale shark's back.
To everyone's surprise, the whale shark remains very calm and seems to not be bothered by the extra weight on his back. However, social media users thought otherwise.
“He was ridden like a circus elephant,” one person commented on the clip online.
Another said: “These guys go full rodeo on the animal. Weird thing is it doesn’t seem to mind until the idiot hops onto its head.”
Do you think this is a form of animal abuse?
