PICS: Tasneem Motara inducted into the Political Bae Hall of Fame by the Twitteratti
Updated | By Tando Ntunja
Politics have heated up since the introduction of the DA's Tim Harris, the EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and various other young, 'hot-bloods' into the public domain. Who is the latest addition to the list?
The Twitteratti have been busy.
In the spate of responses to President Zuma's State of The Nation Address last week, a new face emerged that got the Twitter streets under the collar.
The 'Political Bae' hype was initiated with the emergence of the DA Shadow Minister Tim Harris into prominence in 2012.
Enter the post-2014 electoral period and the likes of Nqaba Kwankwadu, 'King Political Bae', Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and others all emerged into prominence.
Guess who has just made it into the list, encouraging 'active political engagement with the citizenry?'
Counting down:
Tim Harris: DA Former Shadow Minister of Finance, current CEO of Wesgro (Western Cape Destination Marketing, Investment and Trade Promotion Agency)
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi: EFF National Spokesperson
Mmusi Maimane: DA National Leader
Nqaba Kwankwa: UDM Chief Whip
Mduduzi Manana: Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training
And presenting the latest addition to the Political Bae Hall of Fame, Tasneem Motara: ANC NCOP member
The evidence speaks for itself:
Tasneem Motara guys 😍😍😍😍😍, konje ANC delivers when you least expected it. #AmandlaComrades ✊✊
