Always remember that truck drivers aren't able to see all sides of their vehicles.

It's not common to see someone in a wheelchair in traffic, but in South Africa, it seems to happen more often than you might think.

Earlier this year, a man in a wheelchair was spotted holding onto the back of a taxi in Cape Town. It didn't look safe or legal, but, thankfully, no one was hurt.

We'll admit it left us wondering – was this a stunt, prank, or desperate solution for getting to a destination more quickly?

In another incident, an 80-year-old Chinese man accidentally found himself in the middle of traffic. It could’ve been much worse if a motorcyclist hadn’t stopped to help.

In the video posted on TikTok, it's revealed that the man ended up in a truck's blind spot in Jiangsu, China. When the traffic light turned green, the truck driver began moving forward, unknowingly pushing the man along.

"Fortunately, a good samaritan on a motorbike alerted the truck driver by honking his horn until the driver came to a stop. The elderly man has been safely reunited with his loved ones," the caption states.

What could have turned into a tragic situation was saved by the quick thinking of the motorcyclist.

It also serves as a stark reminder that many people are unaware of just how limited a truck driver's visibility can be around their vehicle.
