Achraf Hakimi hands mom his wealth, leaves ex with nothing

According to news sources, Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi is receiving a positive response over his actions...
Hailed for his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi hit the headlines for kissing his mom in celebration of a goal.
Deemed a mama's boy, people did not feel shy to make fun of him. Of course, we thought it was endearing. A boy showing love for his mother should not be ridiculed but celebrated.
But this time his name is hitting the headlines for a different reason. After his wife Hiba Abouk filed for divorce, a harsh reality was revealed.
Abouk claimed half of the footballer's property and was sorely surprised by the revelation.
"The court informed her that her ‘millionaire’ husband legally owns nothing, as all his assets are registered under his mother’s name." (Facebook)
Shock and horror, right? But that's not even the shocking part.
People from all over have shared their mixed views surrounding the story, with some saying that he did the right thing, falling into the stereotypical view that ex-wives are just out to get the money.
Others are saying that what he did was unfair.
Nigerian life coach, Laila St. Daniel-Mathew, shared a post about what she thought was an unbiased view.

All is well and good, to take care of the woman that took care of you for most of your life, but that doesn't mean that your wife should be hung out to dry.
"According to a report by Morocco World News in June, the Paris Saint-Germain player is the sixth highest paid African footballer, earning more than $215,000 per week." (Alarabiya)
That's a whopping R3.9-million.
Abouk filed for divorce pending sexual assault allegations against Hakimi. The two share two sons together and have been married since 2020.
