We love a good throwback and what better way of celebrating a throwback than with an old menu from the popular fast food restaurant, KFC?
The KFC brand has become a household name in Mzansi and even those who don't eat it know about it.
Colonel Sanders and his motivational story is anything but unpopular. It is often spoken about in motivational videos and drawn upon as a reason to keep pushing for your purpose.
Alex Jay transported us back in time with his Throwback Thursday post on X this week when he shared a KFC menu from the 1980s.
Yes, you read correctly, a menu from four decades ago.
The prices were insanely cheap but that's if we think about the cost of living today. At that time it was probably an expense that not everyone could afford.

Take a look at the prices below, a snack box with two pieces used to go for R0.69, while a 15-piece bucket would go for R3,19.
