American stand-up comedian takes a crack at Afrikaans
"Jy lyk baie mooi"...
Who can firmly say they don't enjoy a good comedy session?
Well, without the turmoil that comes with sitting at the front, which is totally at your own risk.
This time it wasn't about sitting at the front but being recognised for one of our official languages. Afrikaans to be specific.

An American comedian, Martin Amini, shared a short snippet from one of his shows.
It just so happens that he had a South African in the front row and recognised that her accent was interesting.
After asking, he finds out that she is South African and then enquires about her dialect. She replies to him saying that she speaks Afrikaans and then he asks her to say something in Afrikaans.
"Jy lyk baie mooi"...
