Sitting on the toilet is definitely more than that for many people.

It is looked at as a getaway of sorts.

And let's not even mention how long those toilet visits end up being since the introduction of the smartphone.

If you know, you know, and if you don't, then consider yourself lucky.

A study in Britain did the utmost to prove this theory.

Researchers polled 1,000 men and found that a total of seven hours per year was spent in the toilet.

The reason? For peace.

Sounds hectic, but if you're really honest, we thought it may have been more than seven hours (No shade intended).

In addition to getting some peace, it was said that visiting the toilet was their way of escaping the kids.

Talk about shared responsibility or the lack thereof... the nerve!

It seems that toilet breaks are one of the most popular forms of escapisms, we wonder if this is something that all parents do though...
