Frontman Mark Hoppus discussed the sound of the new album with NME, stating that if you liked California and Enema Of The State, then this albumis for you. "Trying to experiment more, trying different sounds, and trying to expand upon what people think Blink-182 is," he added.
Blame It On My Youth was produced by Tim Pagnotta (Strumbellas, Plain White T's) and it has a strong feel of teen angst nostalgia that has become synonymous with the group over the past two decades.
