Boss lady demonstrates what some customers are like
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
At first, we thought this was legitimate, but we slowly realised it was a dramatisation of serving unreasonable customers.
Is the customer always right?
This is a dying question in the service industry these days, but many businesses still believe it to be true and go out of their way to please their customers.
We live in a world of entrepreneurship, a world of artisans who are fine-tuning their crafts and building their businesses from the ground up. This requires not only having a great product and/or service, but also good customer relations.
A Johannesburg businesswoman who happens to be an exclusive designer of ball gowns shared a fun video she made with her team. In the video, it looks like she is reprimanding one of her employees over a mess.
However, she was not comfortable doing it and said that it was a request from the client who needed someone to blame.

Warbie Couture was founded in 2017 and is led by the head designer and founder, Aly Warbie. She is described as the "heart and soul of all the creations. Warbie Couture has one goal – To give each client an exclusive and personalised designer experience." (Warbie Couture website)
At first, we thought the video was real and that Aly was expected to reprimand her employee for a mistake. However, after a closer inspection, we discovered it was all a ruse.
It's just something that they thought would be relatable for some, because everyone knows that in every business, you can either get a darling of a boss or a demon of a customer... It's a fact of life.
