Brothers speak in Spanish about an attractive woman not realising she understood them
It's just like we say, you never know who is listening...
As a country that is so diverse, both in terms of culture and language, we can firmly say that sometimes it's best not to make assumptions.
And we say this because our diversity makes us quite fluid in our understanding of various languages.
It is always best to not make assumptions then when it comes to a person's heritage. Because they may look one way and actually represent a variety of ethnicities.

These brothers who were traveling to Hawaii learnt that assumption can be the key to embarrassment.
Michael Jarvis shared their brief, yet awkward moment at the airport on his TikTok when his brother used Spanish to speak to him. They come from a mixed background and are Hispanic American.
The one brother who went to use the phone charging station was being playful when he decided to speak in Spanish to his brother about a pretty girl who was seated next to him.
Michael, the brother who was on the other side of things, pleaded with his brother not to flirt with the young woman, as it was going to be make him feel awkward.
And as they laughed it off, they came back to their seats, which were located behind her.
Only to realise that she was in fact wearing a sweater that had a Latin Alliance logo on the back. Which made them lean towards the possibility that she may speak Spanish, and therefore understood everything they were saying...
