Cabin crew mistakes a 26-year-old for a child
A real-life Benjamin Button can't believe she looks under 18.
While looking young might seem like a blessing in disguise, it can come with some drawbacks. For example, people may not take you seriously, and showing your ID at over 18 establishments can become an awkward hassle.
However, these minor inconveniences might seem trivial compared to the lengths some go to in search of eternal youth, spending thousands of rands on products to maintain a youthful appearance.
One young woman, though, wasn't too pleased when she was mistaken for a child during a flight with her boyfriend.
Twenty-six-year-old Qilan Umara shared a video describing how the cabin crew mistook her for a minor while she was seated at the emergency exit doors during a flight.
It's easy to see how they could've made the assumption – her youthful appearance and voice both suggest someone younger than 26.

Typically, passengers under 18 aren’t allowed to sit at the emergency exit due to safety regulations – they’re considered unable to assist in an evacuation if needed.
At first, it seemed like a standard safety check, but it turns out that Umara frequently gets mistaken for being younger.
