Caught in the act: Fisherman seen walking his fish
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
A fisherman's life is always full of anecdotes; this time, it was a passerby who caught the best view...
It's never a dull day for a fisherman, even if it is a dull day.
A Durban man walking along the infamous Blue Lagoon in Durban noticed the most unusual sighting and shared it on social media.
The Blue Lagoon, also known to many as 'Lugs', is a popular fishing spot and a place that many families frequent over the weekend. It is a perfect hangout with warm snacks, clothing, toy stalls, and abundant space for kids to ride their bikes.
The end of the pier area is known as a hotspot for fishermen, who gather close to the rocks with their rods, waiting patiently for their line to catch.

Last weekend, TikToker Brett shared a video of what he witnessed with his family. It was all laughs for them as they saw a fisherman drag his catch on the ground.
Brett then said aloud, "He's walking his fish here..." Everyone around him giggled, and another person engaged with him, calling the 'fish' a shad. The fish was, in fact, a shark.
But this didn't stop people from commenting, saying that Durbanites call all fish 'shad'. It was just some lighthearted fun, and that's precisely how people took it.
