Cake drama: Woman shares what she ordered versus what she got
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
A woman on TikTok shared what she ordered and what she got from a baking company.
Sadly, since the world of online shopping began there have been more than a few stories where people have shared what they ordered versus what they got.
Let's just say it's been more than many have bargained for and not in a good way.
It's something of a wild card, if you ask us. The thing is that sometimes as a newbie to online shopping it can be easy to get sucked into the ideal, but as soon as you reach the matrix you realise that things get a bit blurry.
One of the most recent discoveries was posted by a woman who shared a pic of what she ordered and then what she got.
The picture of what she ordered looked quite exquisite. It was a rose gold iced cake with a fancy cake decoration, and a twenty-one-cake topper.
But she got something far from what the picture promised. And with the various bodes of home bakers and foodies coming to light recently, we can understand how it may seem appealing to just find someone online randomly. But it comes with a price.
Because some people bite off more than they can chew and end up not being able to deliver what they say they can.
In this case the baker bit off way too much.
Because what was delivered looked absolutely nothing like the picture. It was anything but fancy, and we cannot speak about the taste, but it did not look appetising.
Without ruining it we would like to share the outcome with you. Let us know whether you think the lady should've paid for what she got, considering it was not what she ordered.
Because she did in fact pay!
