Comedian perfectly describes the frustration of working in an office
Updated | By The Workzone with Alex Jay
YouTube sketch artist Benito Skinner described the terrors of working in an office and, with a long year slowly winding down, you will definitely relate.
There are a few things that will always be frustrating about working in an office, no matter how much you like your colleagues. The printer rarely works, the coffee is bad, your deskmate is untidy, and every email you receive is annoyingly marked "urgent". It can drive you to the brink.
YouTube sketch artist Benito Skinner knows your pain and he's here to show you the lighter side of life. By acting out all the office stereotypes in an irreverent it's-funny-because-it's-true way, Skinner relieves some of the end-of-year stress we are all feeling. Watch his hilarious parody here:
You can probably name your office's resident persistent wide-eyed co-worker who always wants to "check in" or "follow up" and the one who is always ready with a horrible joke after seeing Skinner's interpretation.
And who could forget the staple line of all over-eager co-workers: "Hey, did you get my email?"
How many of these office archetypes can you relate to?
Working in a confined space with the same group of people over an extended period of time can be draining. But there is good news: you can always laugh about the year's most frustrating moments at the Christmas party!
