The fourth umpire was the hero as he shushed the snake away from the grounds...

We have seen a fair amount of snakes that are really masters of the 'gate crash' (when you arrive at a party without being invited).
And as much as these snakes are always runaway worthy with their scaly attire and bespoke colour choices, they almost never have us excited about their intrusion.
Safe to say, not a case of being fashionably late.
Check out this snippet of the snake on the field at a recent Lanka Premier League game in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
They cannot blame the snake for taking them for a 'duck'. Over and above the inviting green grass, there's the appeal of being part of the team...
"The reptile, believed to be a non-venomous rat snake, was ushered off the grounds before the game between Galle Titans and Dambulla Aura resumed." (BBC)
