Dad went in to save the teddy but ended up sludge-faced
The silver lining in this scenario is that mud is said to be great for your skin, or so we hear...
They say there's never a dull moment when dads are around...
We can attest to that in most instances, but that's not always true. Fathers are known for their heroic saves and for keeping their calm amidst all the pressurising situations, but sometimes they too can get it wrong.
They have a tendency of making things lighthearted and fun for their kids, but somehow we doubt this dad was trying to get himself in a muddy situation.
A video shows a father heroically trying to save his child's teddy bear from a muddy pool. Of course, he has some reinforcements to stay clean.
He uses a long stick to hold himself from falling into the mud and uses another stick to try and drag the stuffed toy closer to him. Things seem to be going fine and then suddenly he makes the wrong move and ends up submerged inside the mud...
It was one of those moments you keep your camera on because you never know how it is going to end. It turned out it ended in a funny way more than a heroic way, but we can give him credit for trying.
