It is definitely something of a dream for many people to visit the wonderfully fantastical Walt Disney World in Orlando, USA.

And it really is one of those places that you have to put on your list of destinations, especially if you have kids.

But, recently, this theme park has been featured in the media for what we call 'absurd' reasons.

The Splash Mountain ride at Disney World officially closed at the beginning of the week. It will undergo a transformation into Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

But check this out - it seems that after the ride's final run, Disney fans decided to offer up a souvenir to fellow fans.

And it's safe to say that this isn't usually what we associate with souvenirs.

People began selling water bottled in jars on eBay.

But get this, the water wasn't just any old ordinary water, it was water that they claimed is from Disney World's Splash Mountain.

Batches of water are retailing from anything between $25 (R428.35) and $1,000 (R17,134.10).

What's even more crazy is that other people started retailing items that are even more bizarre.

"Other sellers have seized the opportunity to sell Splash Mountain paraphernalia, including plastic bags with Splash Mountain branding, and an old, invalid "fast pass" ticket to the ride, going for $1,300." (MSN)
