Do you enjoy this classic favourite amongst most South Africans?

A classic chip sandwich always manages to hit the spot...
We South Africans disagree on many things, but not much can keep us apart when it comes to our food and snacks.
Our list of favourites is endless, and we are open-minded, whether it means keeping things simple or elevating our snacks to incorporate new levels of flavour.
But as you might imagine, keeping things simple is always preferred. Recently, director and cinematographer Zeno shared an interesting video on TikTok that got us thinking about the simple yet delicious snack choice of many South Africans.
Now, this snack tends to be something we migrate to when we haven't cooked or are hungry, but it hits the spot each time.
Zeno entitled the video, 'Only South Africans will understand Pt. 2', and showed him taking a slice of bread, smearing a large amount of butter over it, throwing in some chips/crisps, squashing the bread together to make a sandwich, and munching down on the crunchy goodness.
We are unsure where this snack originated, but we know it is a classic across South African homes. Many people choose different types of chips/crisps. Usually it is either Lay's or Simba in the salt and vinegar, cheese and onion, creamy cheddar, and balsamic vinegar flavour that feature on the list of favourites.
