Driver over accelerates and crashes into wall
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Was this a case of instant karma or just bad luck?

We’ve seen our fair share of parking mishaps – some drivers push the limits of parking etiquette, while others seem to ignore it entirely.
From squeezing into impossibly tight spots to blatantly disregarding parking rules, plenty have found themselves in trouble for not staying within the lines.
This time, however, the issue wasn’t about bad parking – it was about
an alleged parking spot theft.
A video shows a driver carefully reversing into a spot inside a crowded underground parking lot.
Out of nowhere, another vehicle speeds up the ramp and steals the parking spot. But the driver is going so fast they end up crashing into the wall ahead of them.
While many have assumed the driver intentionally stole the spot based on the video and comments, we think it could have been an accident.
When driving up a ramp, it's common to give the car a bit more gas to get over the incline. In this case, it looks like the driver may have lost focus and accidentally hit the accelerator, leading to the crash.
It’s quite possible this wasn’t an intentional act at all.
The driver who was reversing seems to have escaped without a scratch – but can you imagine what the damage could have looked like if the cars had collided?
