Employee gives boss feedback before ending her last day at work
Saying your peace at the end of a toxic job should be normalised.
Quitting your job when it's so difficult to snatch one isn't something we would recommend.
But there are moments of clarity in life that come over people at key moments. Some of those moments can be life-changing, but make sure to always have a backup plan.
Don't leave a job without having something in place. We hope for this woman's sake that she found something else before sharing her blatant feedback with her ex-boss.
In a video shared to TikTok, we see an opened laptop and a woman speaking over a Microsoft Teams meeting.
After she speaks, another woman, who we assume to be the employee, starts talking.
She opens up about her time as an employee working with the woman on the call and how it was toxic and traumatic for her. She also advised her soon-to-be ex-boss to work on herself as she comes with a lot of negativity.
People were very happy to share in the comments section of the post, many of them relating to this woman's experience. Toxic bosses are a reality, but normalising open and honest communication in the workplace can revolutionise the work environment.
