Hairstylist testing out a shampoo unit breaks the basin
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Do you remember that saying, "You break it, you buy it?"
This video left many social media users on the edge of their seats, wondering what happened after a woman fell off and simultaneously broke a shampoo unit.
A shampoo unit is a chair found at hair salons, where the person getting their hair done has their hair washed.
A video with over 83-million views left social media users on a cliffhanger because the poster gave no context to what happened after she fell off the chair.

People asked for more, so the TikTok user Charisma Marie shared the same video with the original audio. However, the video didn't answer the whole host of people's questions.
The second video was the same as the first but played the audio of the person videoing the woman and how he laughed when she fell and asked if she was okay.
People assumed that she was a client and defended her actions, and then some questioned why the chair wasn't secured to the ground.
Then, Charisma shared the details after people were getting too invested and going down the wrong path.
She shared that she is a hairstylist and was helping the salon owner look over some new shampoo bowls and as she was trying one out, she decided to try out the recliner and didn't realise that the chair was not bolted to the ground...
