Here's why you must check the salt shaker when dining out

This is like adding salt to your wounds...

Dining out is always a treat, and there's nothing quite like enjoying a meal when you're really hungry.
However, one of the most frustrating experiences when dining out – aside from finding an insect or hair in your food – is dealing with a malfunctioning salt or pepper grinder.
It's as if you need a checklist of "pre-meal tasks" before you can even begin enjoying your meal.
The first thing on your list should be to check that the sauce bottles and salt and pepper shakers are properly secured before shaking them over your plate of food.
A woman’s friends took full advantage of her oversight when she used the salt shaker without checking it, resulting in a large amount of salt landing in her food.
It looked like her fries were swimming in salt flakes, and understandably, she wasn't happy about it.
While no one would be thrilled with such a mishap, she didn’t let it ruin her experience and quickly found a solution.

Fortunately, Spur came to her rescue by preparing a fresh meal after she explained what had happened.
It was clear that someone had tampered with the salt shaker before she used it, causing the salt overload.
