This is how long your afternoon naps should be

Like regular sleep at night, afternoon naps also have a time limit.

Taking afternoon naps is often associated with being lazy and exhausted. But it turns out that taking a nap can be very convenient, especially if you lead a demanding life.

However, truth be told not everyone gets the luxury of taking a nap when necessary, but in an instance where you get to nap, you might as well do it right.
Firstly, you will need to identify if you need a power nap or a nap. Power naps are quick refreshers that take mostly 25 to 30 minutes.

Anything beyond 30 minutes is now a nap and a way into a deep sleep. Although it will help with improved memory and decision making, it leaves you feeling sluggish.
So the best course of action is to power nap - and you will thank us later.
