Running a household is a full-time job that goes beyond being a parent and a partner/husband or wife.

Working as a team is essential for functioning well and getting everything done efficiently. Some might say every home has a captain who helps steer the ship in the right direction.

Most of the time, this person is generally the mother of the house, but Dads do their best to help along the way—especially this generation of fathers who have proven their spot in the family hierarchy of responsibilities.

Recognising your strengths and the areas that require work is vital in a family unit, especially between the husband and wife or the parents.

A woman shared how her husband failed to complete a task and how she had to do it. For men, this might not seem like a big deal but for the women of the house, it is. Every minute is accounted for, and when something is not completed, the loose ends dig into her time.

Watch as she explains how her husband folded the laundry but didn't put it away...

Her post attracted many comments from other wives who resonated with her video. Check out some of the comments below.

  • "He wanted you to know that he had done it so you could give him his medal."
  • "I have a problem with how he folded them."
  • "I stopped saying thank you when husband or step kids do house work. Makes it seem like they’ve done my job, but it’s not just my job 🙂 and no one thanks me sooo."
  • "If you were to do this at your job, do you think you'd still have one end of day?"
  • "If he folded them properly they could’ve fit anywhere in that cupboard."
  • "The one and only time my Dad did the ironing and folding, he did it to the dirty washing. He only found out days later when he asked my Mum why she hadn't thanked him."
