It’s tough when your kids hit that age when "why" becomes their favourite word.

As a parent, you're expected to have all the answers. Your child is curious, learning about the world, and naturally has tons of questions. Pro tip? Have Google on your home screen.

While Google can be your go-to for those questions you’re not sure how to answer, it's not always practical.

Imagine trying to keep up as your little one fires off question after question. Not exactly ideal, right?

A father on TikTok, known as Dads Over 40, shared a relatable moment about how sometimes he's just not in the mood for the million and one questions he gets from his kids.

In the video, you can see him trying his best to answer his toddler’s questions. It’s clear his patience is running thin, but he still makes an effort to stay polite.

Take a look at the video below from TikTok.

Other parents, not just fathers, shared their views:

  • "Mine said, 'You don’t know things, but you are big people.'"

  • "When I get to the third 'I don't know,' my daughter says 'do you know anything?'"

  • "That's why I have something called 'The keeping quiet game' I got tired of answering a million questions."

  • "The moment I answer my niece ngesi Zulu... all the questions stop... immediately!"

  • "Guys, they’ve never been here (on earth) before. Please give them a break 😂😂😂 I understand little people."

  • "You're a great dad."
