JHB motorist shares what frustrates him most about traffic

Can you imagine how pleasant it would be driving in traffic if everyone just followed the rules of the road?

As we end another work week, a video about traffic and the impolite behaviour of some motorists has caught our attention.
Traffic conversations usually slant toward the negative, and rightfully so. If we have to look at the community of motorists, the majority are irritable and impatient because of the behaviour of other motorists.
In a video shared on social media,
a driver expresses his frustration by sharing what angers him the most
about other motorists. Of course, in the bigger scheme of "traffic time
annoyances", this is just one of the many that get motorists riled up.
In the video, we watch as the driver sits in traffic, clearly
frustrated by the wait, while other drivers casually cut in ahead of
him.
We're used to seeing this kind of behaviour from taxi drivers, who are always in a hurry to cater for their passengers, but when a regular driver does the same, it somehow feels even more aggravating.
Why do some drivers feel their time is more important than everyone else's? We believe this behaviour reflects a larger societal issue that is often overlooked.
Imagine a world where everyone showed respect to each other, both on the road and beyond...
