Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The hooter challenge may have fizzled out on social media but there's always room to revive it when you're stuck in traffic.
With the hooter challenge, we saw a trend emerge on social media: motorists honking their horns in an uplifting rather than frustrating way.
Getting stuck in traffic is an inevitable part of life for most people, especially in our beloved city of Johannesburg. We find that it helps to go about our days prepared for anything; that way, when something unexpected happens, we are not perturbed by it.
A video shared on social media showed a fun way to approach traffic. Several motorists created a symphony by playing a tune on their car hooters.
