The show, titled 'Current Mood with John Mayer', is a 45-minute programme where John Mayer chats to musicians, actors, and public figures.

Mayer shared that this show was a way to fight his own loneliness. "Maybe this might help some other people fight there," he wrote on an Instagram story.
The programme is recorded on an iPhone in Mayer’s living room and can be watched on Mayer’s Instagram story for 24 hours thereafter. Each episode is filled with hilarious and thought-provoking discussions around a variety of topics that showcase Mayer's razor-sharp wit.
In the show, the 'Your Body is a Wonderland' hitmaker debates everything from breakfast to how the tabloids never seem to get enough of his dating life.
Variety reports that each of the musical guests join Mayer for a relaxed interview and then a few songs, with Mayer joining in on rhythm guitar and occasionally throwing in a solo.
Previous guests include Halsey, Charlie Puth, and Alec Benjamin.
