Leopard attempts to escape pride of lions in the Kruger

Watch the nerve-wracking moment a leopard rolled over in submission to escape a pride of lions.
This leopard found itself stuck in this less-than-ideal situation.

A video shared on Kruger Sightings shows how a male lion runs into a bush and chases out a leopard that was hiding behind the rocks. Within seconds, the whole pride surrounded the leopard!
The video was recorded over the August long weekend while Kerry Balaam, a professional guide, was on a drive with her guests for Kruger Pride Safaris and Birdsong Lodge. The leopard can be seen as acting very submissively.
"He was lying down, keeping himself small. His head was down and his ears were flat, all techniques to show to the lions that he wanted to survive uninjured and that he wouldn’t attack if they wouldn’t."
