A British morning show called, 'This Morning', recently interviewed Eric Sprague, who goes by the nickname The Lizardman.

Sprague has undergone several body modifications over the past three decades and shared how this was part of his destiny. He has always been fascinated with reptiles, hence the direction of his modifications, which are linked to lizards

He shared how he was told he could be anything he wanted to be when he grew up, and he took that very seriously as an adult.

Sprague also detailed some of his surgeries, for instance, the splitting of his tongue. He shared that because he designed the tongue-splitting surgery and took it to the doctor who performed it, it only cost him $600 (R10,000), which was the cost of the doctor's surgical tools.

This was back in 1997, and since then, he believes this was his legacy as he established the surgery in the body modification community

He went on to share other details like the discomfort around his surgeries and even said that the tongue-splitting surgery wasn't that painful because he was drugged, but he could smell and taste his tongue being lasered.
