A man misses being hit in car crash in Cape Town

This video captures just how fortunate this man was, as he narrowly escaped becoming a victim in a car crash that happened just centimetres away from him.

You don’t always get to witness the bizarre and freak accidents on South African roads, but sadly, car collisions have become all too common, especially when luxury cars are involved.
This raises the question of whether some drivers of these high-end vehicles are pushing their speed limits too far. And as we all know, speed can quickly lead to a loss of control.
While we might like to think we can all drive like Dominic Toretto, it's worth remembering that he’s a fictional character, and his stunts weren't performed on real, operational roads.
A car collision in Cape Town had one content creator laughing out loud – not at the crash itself, but at the fact that a bystander narrowly avoided being hit by the cars and emerged unscathed.

A month ago, a Nigerian rapper made headlines when he crashed a McLaren on the streets of Cape Town.
While the full details of the crash remain unclear, one thing’s for sure – the man who narrowly avoided being crushed by the cars was probably the luckiest person in the situation.
We can't help but wonder what was going through his mind while it all played out.
Here are some of the comments from people who weighed in:
"Driving in CPT is an extreme sport. People don’t yield at traffic circles even."
"Those pavements take no prisoners. I’ve lost 2 tyres to those bad boys."
"How are the driver, passanger and pedestrian all unbothered? What is in the water in Cape Town?"
"This is when Jozi drivers go play in CPT, thinking 'ah we’re in CT, these drivers obey the rules here' 😂."
