Man paid GIGANTIC salary and makes a run for it!

HR now wants answers from him...
This is why people in the finance department are always so stressed out when that time of the month comes around.
Which time? Payroll time, of course...
A man who was the receiver of a mistaken salary that had one too many zeros on his salary slip has made the headlines.
"A man who was accidentally paid 286 times his normal salary ended up resigning and completely disappearing..." (LADBible)
The worker worked at an industrial food company that happens to be one of the largest producers of cold meats in Chile.
"He was supposed to have a monthly pay that worked out as 500,000 Chilean Pesos ($545 - R9,100) – with the nation’s monthly minimum wage coming in at around 400,000 Chilean Pesos (R6,900)." (LADBible)
However, the man got paid R2.86-million, which is 286 times more than his expected salary.
Of course, we would totally have mentioned this to HR come month end if this were to happen to us...
But this man seems to have taken this as a sign to live his best life.

After HR picked up the mistake, they contacted him and he reassured them that he would go to the bank the next day to correct things.
"His employers were unable to contact him, despite multiple attempts to call, text, and WhatsApp the worker – who later made contact on 2 June to tender his resignation." (LADBible)
He is officially MIA and the company has launched legal action against him...
