This young man measures 65.24cm and now holds the record...
Life can present us with some unusual things - and most of the time we are trained into looking at the unusual with harsh eyes.
But the special people of the Guinness World Records have used these 'unusual' quirks from people all over the world as the focal point of their industry.
It has become an honour to appear in the Guinness World Records - and rightfully so.
The GWR has opened up things to the world that we wouldn't know about otherwise.
And one of the most recent records that was broken in 2022 was by a 20-year-old man named Afshin Ghaderzadeh.
"Afshin Ghaderzadeh (Iran) flew to Guinness World Records offices in Dubai, UAE to be measured as potentially the new shortest man living." (YouTube)

The Guinness World Records describe their mission as:
"At Guinness World Records we want to show that everyone in the world is the best at something, and we’re here to measure it! Whether you’ve got the stretchiest skin, know the world’s smallest dog or want to create the largest human dominoes chain we want to hear about it." (YouTube)
And we have to say, it does have a certain sense of magic about it.
