We welcome the world's first robotaxi with some hesitation.

We are uncertain of the type of vandalism or mayhem that this might bring.

But aside from that, introducing such an intricate and well-thought-out vehicle illuminates the future of technology

Supercar Blondie reviewed this world first, and the tech titbits are pretty impressive.

"Zoox announced it would deploy its Robotaxi on open public roads with passengers. On February 11, Zoox conducted the first run of its employee shuttle service in Foster City, California. This is the first time in history that a purpose-built autonomous Robotaxi operates on public roads. This futuristic vehicle won’t have the traditional driving controls that we usually find on public transportation." (Instagram)

Supercar Blondie did a short but informative review of riding in the robotaxi, which she called a Zoox. It looked impressive, with the inspiration behind the face-to-face seating coming from 19th-century horse carriages. The taxi works with an application, and passengers can open the doors via the app.
