Men load bakkie onto truck using a forklift

It is not unusual to see things that don't quite fit into the box labelled 'normal' in South Africa.
And we are okay with that, considering our diversity as a nation and how we operate is anything but normal.
So, when we saw this video on TikTok of a man using a forklift to load a bakkie onto the back of a truck, we were not as surprised as one might be.
TikTok user Lethu Benya posted the video. While in their vehicle, they witnessed this bizarre situation. The incident took place in Butterworth, Eastern Cape, and, according to one commentator, this was a normal thing to do.
It was entertaining to watch the operator raise the bakkie on the forklift, but we didn't get to see if he successfully loaded it onto the truck.
It takes a special breed of people to break the rules and use something like a forklift to lift a bakkie. Thinking out of the box is what businesses require and this was the perfect example of that.
