Most real reaction to becoming a father goes viral
This is a beautiful story showing us the emotional journey that some couples go through to become parents.
A video showing a man's epic response to finding out he will be a father again has gone viral for its wholesomeness and authenticity.
The couple, Jake and Lauren, were trying to grow their family with the help of IVF as they were told that her PCOS would make growing their family challenging. The two had successfully conceived their first child, Ryker, through IVF and were looking to add a new addition to the family.
But things looked bleak, as saving for IVF didn't come easily. Lauren also changed jobs, which caused them to re-adjust to life financially. They decided to just enjoy life and put their dreams of growing the family on the back burner. It seems the universe had other plans for them.
Jake's epic reaction to finding out he is going to be a 'girl dad' was caught in a video shared on social media on December 9, 2024.
The video shows Jake entering the kitchen after arriving from work, only to find something waiting for him on the kitchen counter. He looks inside a box and screams, "No f------ way!".
It seems that after not paying any attention to it, it happened.
"On Nov. 1, Lauren secretly took a pregnancy test and found out it was positive. A day later, she set up the box with three positive pregnancy tests and a onesie to surprise her husband with the news.
“She hid it from me for 24 hours. Even when I came home from work that day and had a mental breakdown over finances … and the stinker sat there listening to me knowing full well she was pregnant,” Jake jokes. (People)

The two are expecting their baby girl in May 2025 and are proof that miracles do happen.
