Learning to love nature comes naturally for some. Many South Africans have a built-in love for nature.
A beautiful example of this love for nature surfaced recently in a video featuring a young woman who took her outdoor experience to the next level by cooking with natural tools.
Amanda Dube, the content creator who often posts videos of her preparing food in the wilderness, cooked meat on a rock slab this December.
Using a large, flat rock slab that resembled a stovetop, she carefully washed it in a nearby stream before setting up a cosy cooking space. Next, she set up her wood, lit a fire, and got to work.

In the past, we've seen her prepare burgers and rotisserie chicken and even cook wild mushroom pasta.
Her videos tap into the nature lover in everyone, even those who might not typically consider themselves outdoor enthusiasts. She effortlessly transforms the wilderness into a gourmet kitchen, using nature's utensils to craft food that looks like it belongs in a five-star restaurant.
Her content not only entertains but also brings a fresh, engaging twist to cooking shows. Who wouldn’t enjoy watching a cooking show that blends culinary expertise with the beauty of nature?
