Only in SA: When the delivery guy's helmet needs a clean

No harm, no foul – just a guy doing his bit for the delivery guys with his version of a windscreen wash.

We're well into January, and it's exciting to see how South Africans are making their marks on the roads.

Traffic light humour has always been a part of South African culture. From entertaining traffic controllers to the guys with their placard jokes, driving through SA roads is never dull.

Proof of this came in a recent lighthearted video showing guys at a traffic light in Cape Town cleaning a PnP ASAP delivery guy's helmet.

It sounds simple enough, but we doubt the delivery guy asked for a windscreen wash...

The PnP delivery driver put the ASAP service on the map with a viral video that's been making the rounds on social media.

South Africans often turn traffic lights into their stage – whether it's asking for small change with little effort or going all out with entertaining skits.

In Johannesburg, we've seen mime artists and dancers using beer crates to perform choreographed routines for drivers stuck at red lights.

The goal is always the same: earn a little change for their entertainment.

Though it isn't always appreciated or a guaranteed way to make money, South Africans relate to this hustle.

The video, which has received one million views on TikTok, celebrates the lighthearted spirit of South Africans, even in tough circumstances.
