POV: This is how potholes will humble you...
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
They really do... you can be jamming to your music and then, boom, you hit one...
There are many things that we come to accept in life and not always because we want to.
But because sometimes we have no other choice.
As South Africans, potholes are one of those exceptions we are forced to live with.
As soon as one gets fixed, we see two more appear and so forth.
So, like many, we play a game of 'avoid the pothole' to the best of our ability. But that is not always possible, sometimes they creep up on you.
And other times, you are forced to drive over them because they are situated in the most unavoidable spot. After all, driving safely and not hindering others on the road takes priority.
'Blood and Water' actor Arno Greeff made us share a little laugh about it all though.
Of course, it was funny for us because it is so relatable, not because we find going over a pothole funny.
Because if anything, going over a pothole sometimes causes physical pain. If you know, you know.
