Record broken for most watermelons crushed with thighs
Believe it or not, there is a Guinness World Record for crushing the most watermelons between the thighs.
After hearing about some of the most bizarre records ever broken, we can confidently say we're no longer shocked by the unusual record-breaking feats people attempt for the Guinness World Records.
It seems the more unusual the record, the more appealing it becomes. This time, we couldn't help but think, "Well, that's something you don't see every day..."
The Guinness World Records social pages recently shared something interesting that caught our attention: the current record-holder for the most watermelons crushed between the thighs in one minute.
The record is held by Gözde Doğan from Türkiye, set during the 'Lo Show Dei Record' show in Milan, Italy, on February 5, 2024.
As the first-ever holder of this title, she’s earned a place in history – after all, everyone remembers the person who did it first. All we can say after watching this is that she must have strong thighs.

Doğan, a personal trainer by profession, clearly has the strength to crush watermelons – and it shows.

We were also impressed by another remarkable record: the most fireworks launched by multirotors/drones in an aerial display, which stands at 3,865. This incredible feat was achieved by Pyroemotions Ltd (Malta), Qatari Diar (Qatar), and Zoom Design (Qatar) in Lusail, Qatar, on January 1, 2025.
