We cannot say that the New Year has been kind to everyone. The rate of unemployment is still a cause for concern. 

In saying that, it is generally around this time of the year that companies recruit aggressively. As much as you may be the perfect candidate for a job, sometimes we match with companies that aren't aligned with our growth. 

How often have you been intimidated by a job alert? Just the thought of reading the requirements on your personality traits can give a person anxiety. 

However, the overarching desperation of needing a job forces many people to ignore those feelings of anxiety and apply. 

Most times it will earn you an interview and during the interview, there might be something that doesn't sit well with you but you push forward because still you think, "I need a job".

It seems that all those feelings are your mind and body telling you that this is not the right fit. The job alert had some red flags but you chose to look over them because your needs outweighed your sense of self-care. 

A post shared on Reddit revealed that red flag phrases in job alerts should not be overlooked. The post was from Danielle Roberts, the anti-career coach.

Taking into consideration the amount of people who are burning out at work but not being able to say anything due to the pressures from management, not to mention the pressure of keeping the job, it is a real eye-opener to read this:
