Revenge by car ticket! He bought a car on his ex's name

This was a spiteful one that they both have to pay for...
Some relationships just don't work out and somehow we find that there is always someone who gets hurt.
Some are unable to just lick their wounds and heal in their own time and so they decide that revenge is the only way forward.
And as the saying goes, revenge is a dish best served cold. This is exactly what one man did to his ex-girlfriend.
In November 2009, Brandon Preveau purchased a car in his ex-girlfriend's name, Jennifer Fitzgerald.
Now in case you were thinking what a kind gesture this was, as he must've been trying to win her back, you are sadly heading down the wrong path.
Preveau didn't buy the car in her name as a grand gesture of love, but rather one of revenge.
After buying the for $600 (R11,090.00), he abandoned the car in an inaccessible airport parking lot for nearly three years.
The car was accumulating airport parking bills and after being parked at the airport for three years, the accumulated bill was $105,000 (R1.9-million).
"According to DNA Info Chicago the city agreed to drop $100,000 in ticket fines against Fitzgerald leaving her with a final bill of $4,470. Preveau has to pay the initial down payment of $1,600 and Fitzgerald will pay an additional $78 per month until the fine is paid off." (ABC News)
Of course, many wondered why she even had to pay anything towards this debt considering it was her ex-boyfriend's vengeful act that got her into this mess in the first place.

The thing is, Fitzgerald received notices about the car's tickets that were racking up. She tried to ask Preveau to move the car, but to no avail.
She was unsure as to why the City of Chicago didn't just have the car towed, but it could've been way worse with her having to pay $105,000.
