Security guard regrets saying yes to sushi
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Let this be a firm reminder that sushi isn't everyone's cup of tea...
We’re not sure who started it, but the idea of sharing has become a bit overrated. We shouldn't feel obligated to share everything – whether it's toys, books, general belongings, or, most importantly, food.
That is unless you have extra and someone is genuinely hungry. Otherwise, sharing should come with a warning label. A label that highlights how this experience could go terribly wrong.
For one security guard,
sharing sushi turned into an unforgettable – and regrettable –
experience. He was offered a piece and, encouraged by his generous
sharer to eat the whole thing in one bite, bravely went for it.

Ché van Heerden generously offered a piece of sushi to a security guard while enjoying his meal in his car. But we can't help but wonder if he knew how this would play out.
The naughty laugh at the end certainly made us think twice.
In the video, Van Heerden gives the guard a piece of sushi. At first, the guard lets out a "Mmm" which is usually a good sign that someone's enjoying their food.
But things quickly take a turn for the worse when he continues to chew and realises he doesn't like it.
At one point, it looked like he might cry or hurl – sometimes, those two reactions seem to go hand in hand.
