Shop owner ducks through planned escape route during robbery
We can learn from this - as much as it is not ideal to think about crime, it is always best to be prepared for anything.
When it comes to crime, it's always best to have a plan. A plan of action, you might call it, is the best way to approach being a victim. We all have a choice in how things pan out, and living in a crime-ridden country should make us proactive.
A shop owner with the right mindset regarding being proactive was seen acting from a place of safety.
In CCTV footage, we see a shop owner behind his counter. After seeing the criminals enter his shop, we see that he did not resist and allowed them to take what they wanted.
As the thieves helped themselves to the cash inside the till, he stood there without doing anything.
Then, suddenly, we see him bend down and disappear inside what looked like a shelf filled with goods. It was like a magician at work.

It was interesting to see that he had an escape plan, but more than that, it was interesting to know how the thieves didn't even react to his getaway.
