Burn me once, that's on me; burn me twice and get shredded for a price...

While many are finalising their Valentine's Day plans, others are looking for a more unconventional approach to the holiday of love.
We're not talking about something extreme like burning photos of your ex or performing a cleansing ritual (remember when the girls from 'Friends' tried that and almost burnt down the apartment?).

Well, it seems that more and more places are embracing unconventional ways to celebrate the day of love, offering a little something for those nursing a broken heart and looking to spread their wings this Valentine's Day.
Slaw, a popular burger chain in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is doing things differently this year. They're inviting customers to bring in a photo of their ex, and in return, anyone who shreds the picture will be treated to an Anti-Valentine's Day burger.
At least this option gives you something besides revenge! Over in the US, some zoos are offering people a chance to name a cockroach, rat, or veggie after their ex. These “gifts” are then fed to the animals, with all proceeds supporting wildlife conservation efforts.
