Sister makes a plan for dinner despite there being no power

These are the type of people you want to be around in 2025, the ones who make a plan regardless of their circumstances.
South Africans were spared from load-shedding this holiday season, which wasn't something that anyone took for granted. Nothing dampens the festive cheer faster than not having power or water during the holidays, especially during summer.
If there's one thing we know about South Africans, though, they are always there to make a plan. We saw some people turn their vehicles into pools while others chose to cook eggs in the heat, which is a great way to save on your electricity bill if you think about it.
We also saw people rise above their circumstances and turn things around to work in their favour.
We saw this again a few days ago when a sister shared a video of what she resorted to doing when they were left without electricity before dinner.
A social media user with the username Miss.Stutter7 shared a video of the drastic measures she took to get supper going for her family. "I had to make a plan. Don't come for me," she captioned the clip.
She made a makeshift stovetop using coffee mugs that housed candles and what looked like a drying rack for her dishes. She placed her enamel plate on top of the stove and cooked her boerewors.
It was anything but boring to watch as we heard the sizzling sounds of the boerewors.
Talk about a candlelit dinner!
