Son gets himself stuck in bike tyre and dad refuses to help
Sometimes, tough love is the only way to help your kids gain confidence.
Dads are known for their ability to stand strong when parenting, most of the time anyway.
One dad gave us courage when he refused to help his son who managed to get himself in a tricky bind.
In a video that was shared to TikTok, we see a young boy crying while trying to free himself from a bicycle tyre.

It's not easy staying put and not immediately rushing to help your kid out when they find themselves in a tough situation, but sometimes hanging back for a bit helps them in the long run.
We believe that is what this father was trying to do when he refused to help his son.
He wanted to teach him to stay calm and take control of the situation, in other words, he wanted to teach him how to handle a stressful situation in his absence.
And that's admirable.
